Job summary

Edgewood Healthcare in Boise, Idaho seeks a Part-Time Cook to join our dining team. You’ll prepare meals for residents, staff and guests based on established menus and recipes. This role offers rotating weekends and all shifts with training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is strongly desired.
• Active ServSafe Certification, or willingness to obtain
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow recipes and safety procedures
• 18 years of age or older for compliance
• Desire to train new employees and continue learning

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents, staff, and guests based on menus and recipes
• Help plan and prep for resident and employee events
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining room
• Assist with budget goals, inventory management, and production control
• Follow HIPAA and all Edgewood policies
