Job Description Summary

Position Summary: The Senior Customer Care Associate 1 is responsible for providing world-class service in a leading-edge call center environment by processing VIP orders, working closely with the markets to resolve customer issues, and responding to customer inquiries in a courteous, timely, accurate, and professional manner to support the sale and marketing of our suppliers to key accounts from chain and national customers.

Position Hours: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday

Residency Requirements

The position is 100% remote; however, applicants must reside in one of the following states and be able to commute to an office if needed: Illinois, Maryland, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Minnesota, Nevada, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C., Wisconsin, Missouri.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and process orders for Key Accounts received from chain and national buyers.
  • Utilize third-party systems to retrieve orders.
  • Work closely with markets to ensure VIP customers have proper pricing and credits.
  • Ensure sales are captured by responding to customers and entering orders accurately in SAP.
  • Resolve customer inquiries using multiple support tools, including SAP and contacting relevant business units.

Maintain a world-class standard of customer service, meet department metrics, build relationships with customers, and provide consultative support and recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Proficient in MS Office and other computer programs
  • Strong communication skills and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to multitask, work independently or in a team, and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and reporting skills
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in consumer products or distribution industry
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and operate a computer and telephone
Competencies
  • Accountability for results impacting the department
  • Ability to select the best option from procedures using common sense and experience
