Job summary

The Courville at Nashua is a Senior Healthcare Community in Nashua, NH. We are looking for a Full-time Activities Assistant to plan, implement, and lead daily activities for our residents, providing social and emotional support per established guidelines.

Responsibilities include running activities, developing new programs, safely transporting residents, and collaborating with nursing staff. A High School diploma is required; LNA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely and effectively perform job-related functions.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
• Experience in a skilled nursing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically run daily activities that engage residents.
• Develop new activities that appeal to different resident interests.
• Safely transport residents to and from activities.
• Observe residents' physical, emotional, social and spiritual health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Observe residents' rights and assist in evacuation during emergencies.
