Job Overview

The Security Officer for ParkX Management ensures that the facility operates smoothly, safely, and cleanly, providing a positive experience for residents, tenants, and guests.

Location and Compensation

Location: Washington, DC

Compensation: $19.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete hourly patrols of the property using the security system.
  • Control access for guests, tenants, and vendors.
  • Prevent property damage.
  • Conduct routine foot patrols in and around the building.
  • Report safety concerns and incidents.
  • Issue banning notices to rule violators and maintain related records.
  • Maintain the appearance of the plaza kiosks and enforce policies such as no dogs on the plaza.
  • Update and communicate information to guests (e.g., Kiss N Ride, contact numbers, rules).
  • Report suspicious activities or unknown work at the property.
  • Manage illegal parking notifications and keep fire access clear.
  • Secure loading docks and report concerns to management.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma.
  • Virginia security officer certification.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Valid driver's license with no major violations.
  • Flexibility for after-hours and weekend shifts.
  • Outgoing personality, strong problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Trustworthiness, integrity, and accountability.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
