Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Customer service experience preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Alarm panel experience preferred.
Guard card or license preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check per law; drug screen may be required.
Licensing requirements may apply.
A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and clients by following security procedures and policies.
Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols; document activity.
Conduct regular patrols of shelter areas and exterior grounds; report hazards and policy concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with entry processes.
Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports; coordinate with site staff and emergency responders.
