Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Badge Control Patrol position in San Jose, CA. You will monitor a retail location, provide customer service, control access, respond to alarms, and deter incidents while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, structured manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the retail location.
• Monitor access points to deter unauthorized entry and policy violations.
• Document incidents and patrol activities and communicate findings to leadership.
