Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to protect a Shopping Center in San Jose, CA. The role emphasizes patrolling, responding to incidents, and ensuring safety. Qualifications

• Active CA Guard Card required.
• Security experience of 1+ year preferred but not mandatory.
• Intermediate to advanced technology skills required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 for armed, where applicable).
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper property removal.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
