Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal history considered as allowed by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and security protocols at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and efficiently; notify appropriate contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs and share observations with leadership and site reps.
