Plateau Valley School District 50 is seeking a Full Time Secondary Special Education Paraprofessional who is motivated to support students facing academic challenges. The role involves helping students one-on-one or in small groups under the supervision of a Special Education teacher.
Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma and ideally some experience working with children. This position offers an hourly wage starting at $16.56 on a Monday-Thursday schedule, with additional hours on Fridays as needed.

Paraprofessionals are responsible for helping students with academic difficulties. They may work one-on-one or in small groups to provide instruction, encouragement, and support for students. The paraprofessional will work within the regular education classroom and/or Special Education Classroom. The Paraprofessional will work under the supervision of the Special Education teacher and will can also receive on-the-job training from the teacher(s).
Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Position is for 8 hours each day, Monday-Thursday (and some Fridays due to current calendar changes for Fall 2025 only).
