Job summary

Schuylkill Valley School District in Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Second Shift Custodian at the Elementary School to join their custodial team. The role focuses on keeping classrooms, restrooms, and cafeterias clean and safe after school hours. Approximately 2:30 p.m.

• Six months of custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, and cafeteria areas.
• Maintain school property and grounds.
• Empty trash and recycling.
• Replace supplies.
• Safely use cleaning equipment and products.
• Assist with other custodial needs throughout the building.

Full-Time Second Shift Custodian

Our custodial team plays an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming place for our students and staff each day. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, works well with others, and wants to be part of a team that supports our schools and the people in them.

Hours:

Approximately 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Starting Rate:

$17.96/hour, with higher starting wages based on custodial experience

Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, and cafeteria areas; maintaining school property and grounds; emptying trash and recycling; replacing supplies; safely using appropriate equipment and cleaning products; and assisting with other custodial needs throughout the building.

Qualifications

Six months of custodial experience is preferred. We are looking for someone who is dependable, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in helping maintain a school environment our students, staff, and community can be proud of.
