Full-Time Seasonal Front Desk Associate 2nd Shift

Overview

Available 2nd shift 3pm – 11pm, June through mid-October. The Front Office at Jiminy Peak, located in the Country Inn, serves as "Customer Service Central" for the entire resort. Applicants should be committed to providing unforgettable service and have knowledge of Jiminy's services and amenities. Availability on weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and handle check-in/check-out processes.
  • Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
  • Issue room keys, brochures, lift tickets, etc.
  • Dispatch and follow up with bell staff, housekeepers, and maintenance.
  • Use computer systems for maintenance requests and reporting.
  • Provide information about hotel and mountain services, including directions.
  • Assist guests with driving directions and concierge inquiries.
  • Compute bills, process payments, and give change.
  • Monitor NPS Scores and strive for goals.
  • Respond to guest complaints and service issues.
  • Notify supervisors of situations beyond their scope.
  • Follow safety protocols during emergencies.
  • Stay updated on events and group bookings via Function book BEOs and website.
  • Update Verdant Thermostat system for arrivals/departures.
  • Complete daily operational checklists.
  • Generate reports for management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Respond to inquiries via customer engagement messaging system.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Minimum 18 years old.
  • Customer service experience preferred; friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer, typing, and math skills required.

This position reports directly to the Front Desk Supervisor and/or Front Office Manager.
