Full Time Seafood Clerk at Harris Teeter

Join us as a Full Time Seafood Clerk at Harris Teeter. This position involves processing, packaging, and stocking seafood products according to Seafood Standards, cleaning work areas, and providing excellent customer service. When assigned, duties of a meat clerk may also be performed.

Pay Range: $15.10/hr - $15.10/hr (base pay; actual pay depends on skills and experience)

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and unload stock
• Perform duties of meat clerk when required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally

Work Environment

Work in a cool, humid environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and extreme cold. Moderate to loud noise level expected.
