Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for a school setting in Athens, GA. You will administer evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans, provide speech and language services, monitor progress, and collaborate with teams to support student outcomes.

Qualified candidates will have an active Georgia SLP license (or eligible), a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, GaPSC certification as required for school work, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold active Georgia SLP license (or eligible PCE provisional).
• GaPSC certification as required for school assignment.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to assigned students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and data.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication and learning.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to service recommendations.
• Maintain confidential student records in accordance with regulations.
• Support a range of student communication needs across school settings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support student success.

Education
