Job summary

AHS Staffing, via its PediaStaff division, seeks a local contract School Occupational Therapist for Medford, OR. This 35‑week, full‑time, in‑person position supports K–12 students with orthopedic impairments and other disabilities.

Responsibilities include direct and consultative OT services, evaluations, IEP goals, and collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Competitive weekly pay, benefits, and recruiter support are included.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Experience supporting students with disabilities or high needs preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K–12 students.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement IEP goals to improve student independence and access to learning.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom accommodations.
• Collaborate with COTAs, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings.
