Job summary

AHS Staffing is seeking a local contract School Occupational Therapist for a 32-week assignment in the Glen Ellyn, IL area. This on-site role is for the 2026–2027 school year, with a 35-hour work week and a pay rate of $50–$61 per hour.

The position is elementary school–based, starting 10/12/2026 and ending 6/2/2027 unless emergency days are used, with potential for rehire based on performance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Illinois OT license or eligibility for licensure.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students.
• Evaluate students and develop therapy goals and interventions.
• Provide services per IEPs and support inclusion in the classroom.
• Assist fine motor, visual motor, sensory regulation, and functional skills.
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Complete required documentation and maintain therapy records.
