Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time COOK at Camden County Tech School in Sicklerville, NJ. The position runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with a fixed pay rate of $17.86 per hour. Prior cooking experience is required, and internal referrals are noted.

As part of Chartwells K-12, this role focuses on preparing quality meals, following recipes and safety standards, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures and maintains records from area during service.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains high standards of cleanliness and stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Assists in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as required; assists in production planning and reporting.
• Follows HACCP standards and participates in safety meetings and upkeep of equipment.
