Job summary

Chartwells K-12 in Lindale, TX is hiring immediately for a full-time Food Service Worker to prepare and serve meals in a school setting. The shift runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, with online applications accepted.

Duties include washing and prepping produce, weighing ingredients, maintaining sanitation, serving customers, following recipes and portion control, and ensuring safety standards. Prior NSLP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Immediate opening for full-time food service worker.
• NSLP experience preferred.
• Location: Lindale ISD facility in Lindale, TX.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed in a school setting.
• Washes, peels, cuts and portions fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Ensures food safety, sanitation and proper portion control.
• Resolves customer concerns and follows supervisor instructions.
