Chartwells K12 is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker in Pontotoc, MS. The role requires no prior experience and offers on-the-job training. Typical shift is 6:30 am to 2:30 pm with some variation; online applications are accepted only.

The position includes preparing and serving food, basic prep tasks, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the cafeteria. Compensation is $13.00 per hour with eligibility for internal referral bonuses.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work (washing, peeling, cutting vegetables).
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans and trays safely to work stations and equipment.
• Stores food properly and follows rotation procedures.
• Cleans areas, equipment and utensils to maintain sanitation.
• Serves customers in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Complies with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Adheres to sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
