Job summary

Compass Group USA's Chartwells K-12 division is hiring for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER at Brownsboro ISD, Brownsboro, TX. The role operates the POS, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the stations clean.

The position requires a valid Food Handler's certificate and offers the opportunity to work in a school cafeteria environment with full-time schedule and benefits. Compensation is fixed at $12.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous Food Handler's certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system and process transactions.
• Prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts.
• Maintain cleanliness of cashier and coffee stations.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Cashier according to established procedures and end-of-shift deposits.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving line and monitor food temperatures.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Set up items for purchase daily.
• Stock pantries with correct par levels and record temperatures.
