Job summary

Chartwells K-12 is hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER at Brownsboro ISD. The role includes cashiering duties, food service tasks, and maintaining sanitation in dining areas.

Location: Brownsboro, TX. Schedule: Monday through Friday, hours may vary; online applications accepted only. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required. This position follows the school schedule and offers a fixed pay rate of $12.00 per hour and potential referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to perform cashiering duties and handle payments.

Responsibilities

• Performs cashiering duties, including completing sales transactions and handling cash accurately.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service and dining room facilities.
• Stores foods properly and follows food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils and ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and assists with resolving complaints.
