Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas license as an SLP (TDLR).
• Ability to use tests and measurements to assess communication disorders.
• Knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation of speech-language disorders.
• Ability to communicate well in oral and written form.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of computers, word processing, and software related to the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to students with speech/language goals per IEP.
• Evaluate progress and determine continuation or termination of therapy.
• Maintain required documentation for TEA, TDLR, and TSBOE.
• Assist with augmentative communication devices and low-tech options.
• Conduct independent evaluations to determine eligibility for services.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support IEP goals.
