Your Day at Lowe's

Pro Sales Specialists are active, moving throughout the store or garden center, answering phones, and engaging with Pro customers. You will primarily communicate with Pro customers, discussing project needs and helping solve their business challenges.

Your expertise ensures Pro customers' needs are met efficiently, helping them complete their jobs correctly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the Pro business to assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, quoting, and ordering merchandise.
  • Work with Lowe's Pro Supply to order products through the Fulfillment and Delivery network.
  • Communicate benefits of the Fulfillment and Delivery network to customers.
  • Build customer relationships using CRM tools, improving service and sales.
  • Promote MVPs Pro rewards, partnership programs, Pro Credit solutions, and Pro wallet.
  • Inform customers about stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranties.
  • Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service and understanding of Pro purchasing patterns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years sales experience, with ability to identify and sell products based on customer needs.
  • 1-2 years customer service experience, including resolving issues, locating products, greeting, answering phones, and building relationships.
  • Ability to sit, bend, stand, move around, and lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
  • Availability for various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Proficiency with retail technology like smartphones and tablets.
  • Obtain sales-related licensure if required by law.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.
  • Experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including special orders.
  • Professional certification related to the department.
  • Bilingual skills.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or supporting neighboring stores.

Working Conditions

Environmental factors vary by location, including indoor and outdoor conditions, extreme weather, noise, and moving equipment. Lifting guidelines restrict single lifts to 75 pounds, with team lifts used for heavier items. Powered equipment use requires proper training.
