Your Day at Lowe's

Pro Sales Specialists are active, moving throughout the store or garden center, answering phones, and engaging with Pro customers. Your focus will be on communicating with Pro customers, discussing project needs, and helping solve their business challenges.

Your expertise helps ensure Pro customers' needs are met efficiently, supporting their projects' success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the Pro business to assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, quoting, and ordering merchandise.
  • Coordinate with Lowe's Pro Supply for product orders via Fulfillment and Delivery services.
  • Inform customers about Service, Brand, and Value benefits of Lowe's Pro Supply network.
  • Use CRM to build relationships, streamline processes, and improve service.
  • Promote Pro rewards, credit solutions, and the Pro wallet.
  • Provide product information, warranty details, and application guidance.
  • Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service and sales knowledge.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, with ability to identify and sell based on customer needs.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, resolving issues, and building relationships.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, move around, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Availability for various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Proficiency with retail technology like smartphones and tablets.
  • Obtain sales-related licensure if required by law.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.
  • Experience entering and submitting sales orders, including special orders.
  • Relevant professional certifications.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Lowe's encourages bilingual, military, and veteran applicants. Travel is minimal but may include occasional trips for training or support.

Environmental conditions vary; may include indoor and outdoor work, exposure to weather, noise, and physical lifting (up to 75 lbs with team lifts).
