Full-Time Sales Lead - White House Black Market

Position Objective

The Sales Lead supports management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing great customer experiences and profitability. We value our team members and strive to be the most inspiring place to work, learn, and grow.

Functional Responsibilities
Drive for Results
  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Oversee operational activities like opening, closing, and merchandise flow.
  • Supervise sales associates, inventory, cash handling, and customer service efforts.
  • Maintain standards in merchandise presentation, loss prevention, and other store duties.
  • Motivate the sales team to meet sales goals and develop personal sales targets.
  • Train and coach team members on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Build High Performing Teams
  • Inspire and motivate the team, promoting shared vision and core values.
  • Encourage collaboration and effective communication for positive change.
  • Seek personal development opportunities and feedback to enhance leadership skills.
Customer Experience
  • Promote MAPS principles, providing a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Utilize sales techniques and product knowledge to assist customers.
  • Build customer loyalty through clienteling and wardrobe styling.

  • Ensure efficient register operations and adherence to payment and return policies.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn company technology and store operations
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
  • Constant walking/standing (67-100% of shift)
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of shift)
  • Frequent climbing (34-66% of shift)
