Your Day at Lowe's
As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers, assist them in finding products, and ensure all their needs are met. Your responsibilities include helping customers locate and select products, occasionally loading merchandise, and organizing store displays. Daily tasks may vary by department, which could include Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Help customers locate and handle merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately.
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe, bundle wood).
• Assist customers through shopping and checkout processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying data).
• 6 months experience with retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to perform duties involving prolonged standing, sitting, or other physical activities.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with assistance or accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months retail or customer service experience.
• Bilingual skills.
• Trade certifications relevant to the department (e.g., hardware, plumbing, electrical, lawn & garden, lumber).

Travel Requirements
This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or supporting neighboring stores.

Working Conditions

Lifting guidelines recommend a maximum of 75 pounds, with team lifts used for heavier loads. Powered equipment should be used with proper training.
