Job summary

Compass Group USA's Canteen unit in Tucson is hiring a full-time Route Driver - Vending. You will operate a company vehicle on an established route to stock and service vending machines, interact with clients, and maintain equipment while presenting a professional image.

The role requires 3 years of driving experience, a valid Non-CDL Class C license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort with handheld computers.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Preferred 1–2 years of customer service experience, or at least 1 year of related experience.
• Proficient with handheld computer; training provided.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently and manage route with minimal supervision (98% of work day).

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at designated client locations for vending machines.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
