Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Route Floater, Full-Time to support multiple routes across our Ohio area. You’ll load, transport, and deliver products to client locations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and customer service.

This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a reliable work ethic. We offer a consistent schedule, competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication with customers and AVI team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations.
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Fill in for Service Routes or Delivery Routes as needed.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.
