Job summary

MEP Health is seeking an experienced nurse leader to oversee clinical operations in an emergency room setting. You will supervise nursing and technical staff, assign duties, monitor staffing, and coordinate care across diverse age groups.

As a key liaison among staff, physicians, patients, and families, you will drive quality improvement, ensure safety, and model professional practice while supporting staff development and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state or reciprocal agreement.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant ER/acute care experience.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and delegation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate patient care activities during the shift, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and care standards.
• Assign nursing personnel based on patient needs and staff qualifications, using independent judgment.
• Support strategic initiatives such as quality improvement, compliance, and staff recruitment.
