Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in New Jersey is seeking a Full Time RN or LPN for night shifts on a rotating two-week schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. RN compensation up to $48/hour with a $2/hour shift differential, depending on experience; LPN compensation up to $41.59/hour plus $2/hour shift differential.

The team provides patient-centered care across assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and at-home services.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license in the state they will practice.
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience.
• Passion for caring for seniors.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, focusing on holistic care.
• Perform clinical nursing duties per state practice acts and standards.
• Promote independence by setting care goals and teaching residents/families.
• Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care team to provide routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications as ordered.
• Coordinate Holistic care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.

We are looking for the following Full Time RN or LPN to work Full Time Night Shifts. The Schedule is below on a 2 week rotating schedule from 11pm - 7:30am

Week One:

Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Week Two:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday

Compensation: For RN, up to $48/HR + $2/HR Shift Differential depending on Experience

How you will make an impact:

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, and focusing on placing the resident first.


• Performing all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice


• Promoting resident’s independence by establishing resident care goals, teaching resident/family members to understand a resident’s condition, medication, and self-care skills


• Monitoring a resident clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety


• Working alongside the care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed


• Maintaining infection prevention practices, administering medications, and performing treatments per orders.


• Developing and coordinating a comprehensive Holistic plan of care to meet the resident’s clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team


• Supporting resident’s preferences, routines, and choices in resident’s electronic medical record


• Ensuring that documentation is current, accurate, and timely.


• Participating in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager

What you will need:

• Must have an active RN license in the state they will practice and Graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse program


• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN
