Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Mount Pleasant, Texas is seeking a full-time registered nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care. The candidate should have a BSN preferred and 1 year of related nursing experience. Schedule is 7AM–7PM, with full-time employment in a hospital/clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required.
• RN license in state of employment or compact.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or caregivers.
