Job summary

Eventide Lincoln Care Center is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-hour night shift from 6a to 6p, with every third weekend and holiday rotation. The ideal candidate has an RN or LPN license in good standing, CPR, and at least 6 months of RN/LPN experience. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse course of study; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an RN or LPN, preferred.
• RN or LPN License in good standing; CPR required; vaccination requirements.
• Follows physician orders and documents accordingly.
• Administers medications and nursing services per physician orders and facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and nursing services as ordered by the physician.
• Observes seniors/clients for adverse reactions and documents changes.
• Records vital signs; updates medical records promptly.
• Supervises Med Aides delivering medications to clients.
• Educates seniors/clients for self-administration of medications where appropriate.
• Develops and updates comprehensive nursing care plans.
