Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking Retail Unarmed Security Officers in Albuquerque, NM. The role requires weekend, evening, and holiday availability, plus a current New Mexico Level II Guard License. Officers may conduct extended patrols, maintain a professional presence, and document interactions accurately.

A clean driving record and strong customer-service experience are essential for success. Applicants should be at least 18, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and able to pass

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to drive company vehicles.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid state drivers license.
• Valid New Mexico Level II Guard License.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time!

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle, foot patrols of areas in the public right of way to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Maintain a visible presence and engage in professional public interactions.
• Document all interactions in a clear and concise written report, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Communicate and pass on all pertinent information to fellow team members, other safety teams, and the client.
• Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior.
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by management.
• Pay $17.95 HR
