Job summary

ALDI in Reading, PA is hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to merchandise, stock, cashier, and keep the store clean to deliver an outstanding shopping experience. The role averages 30+ hours per week with starting wage of $19.50 per hour and planned raises in years 2–5.

You will use the POS system, follow cash policies, assist with curbside orders, and uphold safety standards. Applicants should be 18+, with a high school diploma preferred, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, etc.
• Basic arithmetic and cash handling skills required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock product.
• Cashier and process customer purchases using POS system.
• Keep the store clean and organized per policy.
• Assist with curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Uphold safety standards and report hazards.
• Support management in achieving efficiency and loss-reduction goals.
