Responsibilities

• Prepares and prepackages medication for patients under pharmacists.
• Enters prescription information and processes prescriptions in the computer.
• Assists in training of new staff.
• Obtains personal and insurance information from customers and enters it into the system.
• Takes prescription refill orders from customers by phone.
• Collects monies for prescription and OTC sales.
• Organizes filing of prescriptions for five years.
• Maintains accurate records of medications dispensed.
