Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Kentucky in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a full-time Cashier. You will execute customer service, handle register transactions, and support collection, stocking and recovery of used goods on the retail floor.

The role requires greeting donors and customers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper textile categorization and merchandising as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills, ability to make change.
• Ability to perform material handling with few restrictions, works with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift/carry 10 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Must follow all safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Execute customer service at the register with accuracy.
• Perform cash register transactions and card terminal usage.
• Assist with collection, stocking and recovery of used goods.
• Greet donors and customers to provide great service.
• Keep store areas clean inside and outside the retail floor.
• Sort and display textiles, shoes, media and accessories.
• Maintain merchandising guidelines and product quality on the floor.
• Rotate stock and recover products to support sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
