Job Description

Retail Cashier at Choctaw Landing, Hochatown, OK

$14.00 Hourly | Full time | 10:45pm-7:00am or 7:00pm-3:30am, Days will vary.

Weekly Earned Wage Access is available for this position.

Job Purpose or Objective(s):

You will process customer payments by scanning items, totaling purchases, handling cash and change, and balancing the cash register. Additional responsibilities include cleaning and completing task sheets. You will report to the Travel Plaza Shift Supervisor, Manager, or Store Manager.

Primary Tasks:

1. Operate cash registers and pumps according to procedures.
2. Ensure accurate ringing and recording of purchases.
3. Process payments via cash, checks, credit, and debit cards, apply discounts and coupons.
4. Perform merchandising duties such as pricing, stocking, bagging ice, organizing coolers and stockrooms, and replenishing supplies.
5. Complete operations checklists and housekeeping tasks including cleaning and sanitation of the facility.
6. Maintain accountability for all money.
7. Protect inventory and equipment from theft and damage.
8. Check IDs during transactions.
9. Report violations of rules and regulations.
10. Assist with facility maintenance and sanitation.
11. Perform additional assigned tasks.
