Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with three years of maintenance experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to safely use hands and power tools.
• Experience solving problems with multiple priorities.
• Employment contingent upon background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop a schedule of basic maintenance tasks.
• Complete required maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Ensure repairs are made safely and in compliance with local laws.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems and structural components.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks including painting, spackling, and basic electrical/plumbing work.
• Advise management when outside contractors are necessary.
• Review contractor estimates for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections or inquiries.
