New Day Recovery is seeking a hardworking Housekeeper to support our residential program in Louisiana. The role involves cleaning guest rooms according to guidelines, preparing rooms for new admissions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

You will vacuum and sanitize bathrooms and common areas, assist with dining and laundry tasks, stock supplies, and keep the housekeeping cart organized.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass State of Louisiana criminal background and driving record checks.
• Prior cleaning/housekeeping experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to follow and complete a task list on a daily basis.
• Basic knowledge of household cleaning products and how to use them.
• Good communication skills.
• Satisfactory drug screen

Mansioni

• Preparing bedrooms for new admissions, including dressing beds with clean sheets and comforter, vacuuming the carpet, cleaning all hard surfaces, and ensuring rooms have proper accommodations (alarm clock, sound machine, fan, hamper).
• Vacuuming all hallway and common area carpets.
• Assisting the kitchen with washing, drying and putting away dishes.
• Tidying up the dining area after meal times, wiping tables and chairs, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash.
• Keeping the housekeeping cart organized and stocked.
• Deep cleaning all bathrooms: mopping floors, cleaning countertops, wiping mirrors and fixtures, sanitizing shower stalls, stocking towels, and emptying trash.
• Maintaining cleanliness of day rooms: removing dishes/trash, folding blankets, straightening pillows, sanitizing surfaces.
• Assisting medical staff with laundry.
• Maintains professional boundaries with clients and interacts appropriately.
• Assisting medical or kitchen staff with related tasks.
