Job summary

Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab, a Caldera Care facility, is seeking a registered nurse for day shifts to provide compassionate care on the assigned unit.

You will administer medications, document care, educate residents and families, and collaborate with the care team. Responsibilities include admissions/discharges, and communicating with providers. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Multistate licensure where applicable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.
• First aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients on assigned unit.
• Administer and record medications/treatments as offered.
• Complete nursing assessments, evaluations, progress notes, and alert charting as necessary.
• Educates and provides health care instructions to residents/families as necessary.
• Collaborates with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as necessary.
• Communicate with providers and nurse management regarding patients' condition, changes, medications, vitals, etc.
• Provide direct care to residents as needed.
• Direct unit staff as necessary.
• Report to direct supervisor (Unit Nurse Manager) all resident and staff issues/concerns as needed.
• Charge Nurse as scheduled.

Pay Range: $45-53

FT Position

RN Duties and Responsibilities:
