Job summary

MUSC Health in South Carolina seeks a licensed RN to provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure age-appropriate care in line with MUSC standards.

You will participate in governance and professional development to promote clinical excellence, while delivering patient- and family-centered care and maintaining a safe care environment.

Qualifications

• SC or Compact State RN License required.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
• Proven ability to provide patient-centered nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Directs and leads other team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Provide patient/family centered care using the nursing process and addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment with patient privacy and professional behavior.
• Participates in professional practice model activities, governance, and ongoing professional development to promote leadership and clinical excellence.
• Coordinates delivery of patient care via care management principles to identify priorities and improve outcomes.
• Engages in shared governance and maintains a healthy work environment with personal accountability.
