Job summary

Alliance Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory surgery center team in Georgia. This role offers a highly competitive base compensation, generous 401k, comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and eight holidays.

No weekends, no overnights, and no on-call requirements. Responsibilities span Pre-Op, OR Circulator, and PACU duties, including patient education, IV starts, operative support, documentation, and post‑operative follow-up.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Must have current GA nursing license, BLS, ACLS and other required training.
• Knowledge of equipment, instrumentation and supplies required to perform specific responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Op Nurse: Prepare charts while reviewing patient’s history, prior to arrival.
• Pre-Op Nurse: Perform pre-operative assessments and patient education.
• Pre-Op Nurse: Assist with IV starts during pre-operative prep of patient.
• Pre-Op Nurse: Administer medications per Physician’s orders.
• Pre-Op Nurse: Assist with the medication counts and accurate documentation of narcotic log.
• OR Circulator: Circulate and assist Physician and surgical tech during procedures.
• OR Circulator: Prepare the operating room. Restock medications and supplies.
• OR Circulator: Perform time out prior to beginning the procedure.
• OR Circulator: Communicate with Physicians and care team to ensure safe and accurate patient information is relayed.
• OR Circulator: Documentation of operative note and times.
• OR Circulator: Coordinate with scheduling staff to schedule patient’s follow up visit.
• PACU: Observe and assess patient while recovering from moderate sedation.
• PACU: Report any necessary assessment outliers to Physician.
• PACU: Provide patient’s discharge education, prescriptions and return appointment information.
• PACU: Ensure patient meets discharge criteria per Aldrete score.
• PACU: Document assessment data in the medical record.
• General: Ensure safety of patients during procedure visit.
• General: Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• General: Ensure regulatory compliance by completing daily documentation.
• General: Provide pre‑operative phone calls for education and pre‑procedure instructions.
• General: Assist team with next‑day post‑operative phone calls.
• General: Perform other task as assigned by charge nurse, administrator or providers.
• General: Document and maintain appropriate workflow in patient’s EMR.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pre-Op Nurse
