Job summary

Cura Hospitality in Whitfield, MS is seeking an experienced Full-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. You will identify and assess the nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions, and improve quality of life aligned with goals.

As part of Cura, you will provide nutrition education to the care team, follow ADA standards, collaborate with departments to set up dining procedures, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.

The Role At a Glance

We are looking to add an experienced Full-Time Registered Dietitian to our healthcare team in Whitfield, MS. As a Registered Dietitian with Cura Hospitality, you will have the opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals.

Compensation Range

• $30.00 - $34.00 per hour, depending on experience.
