Dental Hygienists play an essential role in patient education and preventative dental care while working in partnership with our doctors. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical procedures including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride treatments, oral cancer screenings, and x-rays
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and demonstrate effective methods
  • Communicate with doctors about restorative and periodontal needs
  • Review and update dental and health histories for all patients
Qualifications
  • Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
  • X-Ray/Radiology Certification as required by state regulations
  • Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide certification as required by state regulations

Working Environment & Physical Requirements: This clinical environment may involve exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens.
