Full-Time Reefer HVAC Tech

USA-Containers, LLC is seeking a reefer technician, a person for our transport refrigeration shop. We are seeking a person with experience in the refrigeration field and will consider a trainee with the appropriate background and technical schooling.

What We Do

Our company specializes in the rental and sale of mobile refrigerated containers. These containers are used as permanent and temporary storage for anything needing climate control.

The Job Consists Of (and who we are looking for)

Repair and refurbish refrigeration units. Meticulous attention to detail is a strong requirement for this position. We cannot cut corners and tolerate shoddy work as these units usually store tens of thousands of dollars worth of product at any given time.

A few of the daily activities would include troubleshooting and repairing control voltage circuits and high-voltage three-phase electrical circuits. Diagnosing refrigeration systems, replacing motors, and compressors. Units are microprocessor-controlled, and basic computer knowledge is needed.

To sum it up, we are seeking a candidate with a strong background in refrigeration, control voltage circuits, and single- and three-phase high-voltage circuits.

We are located in the Biggsville, Illinois area. Most of our work is performed in an enclosed and heated shop. No hot attics, crawl spaces or working out in the freezing/hot weather. Some limited-service calls and overnight travel work are necessary.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
