Job summary

Bergstrom Automotive is seeking a Reconditioning Technician in Appleton, WI. This full-time role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles to Bergstrom standards, inspecting and testing vehicles, and documenting findings.

You will initially be paid hourly and then move to a flat-rate structure with earning potential of $100,000+ based on experience and productivity. The ideal candidate has an Automotive Technology degree or 1–2 years of automotive technician experience, a valid license, and ASE

Qualifications

• Degree in Automotive Technology or 1–2 years automotive technician experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Chevrolet technician experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose and repair vehicles to Bergstrom standards.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings.
• Produce flat rate hours at 120% efficiency or better.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in non-technical terms.
• Safely test drive guest vehicles before and after repairs.
