Job summary

Operation Kindness Humane Society in Carrollton, TX seeks a Receiving and Inventory Coordinator to manage shipments, maintain inventory, and coordinate deliveries across departments. The role also serves as backup Purchasing Coordinator.

Requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with vendors. Schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm. Excellent benefits provided in a nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in receiving, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, or purchasing preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock areas.
• Coordinate daily pickups, internal deliveries, and transfers between departments or facilities.
• Back up Purchasing Coordinator during absences or high workload.
• Assist purchasing and accounting staff with invoice verification and order tracking.
