Jax Mercantile in Broomfield is seeking a Full-Time Receiver to help load, unpack, stock merchandise, and prepare web orders while delivering friendly customer service. This role requires lifting 50+ pounds, using a pallet jack or forklift, and maintaining organized work areas.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading, and examining goods shipped; check shipments against records.
• Verify completeness of shipments against bills of lading and invoices.
• Process documentation and keep accurate records.
• Print barcodes for items without tags.
• Package, fulfill, and ship web orders.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked area.
• Stock and load items including 50-pound bags of feed.
• Assist in inventory and loss prevention efforts.
• Communicate professionally with staff, vendors, and customers.

If you enjoy solving problems and tying up loose ends but also enjoy the physical aspects of organizing and arranging heavy or bulky items, consider joining Jax as a Full-Time Receiver at our Outdoor Gear and Farm & Ranch store in Broomfield. Being one of the first people to see all our amazing products takes the ability to shift and move heavy or bulky loads, use a pallet jack and forklift, document the location and movement of all products, and communicate with all parties involved. Our Receiving Coordinators are responsible for accurately receiving products for all store departments, unloading product, returning defective items to vendors, processing store transfers, and carefully packaging and shipping web orders for their location. All JAX employees are expected to provide excellent customer service, engaging with people and sharing excitement about our store. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, assisting the store management team, and providing customer feedback to Department Managers and the Buyers Team so our stores remain stocked with only the best products our customers have come to expect from JAX. Additional tasks may include:

• Receiving, unpacking, and examining goods shipped, checking shipments for discrepancies
• Verifying completeness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices and other records
• Accurately processing documentation and completing records
• Printing barcodes for items without tags
• Packaging, fulfilling, and shipping web orders
• Maintaining a clean and well-stocked area
  
• Stocking and loading out items including 50-pound bags of feed
• Complete record-keeping tasks and contributing to reports
• Assisting in loss prevention efforts
  
• Communicating professionally with staff, other departments, vendors, and customers
• Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor
• Taking steps to advance teamwork and develop solid working relationships with co-workers
• Assisting in inventory responsibilities
• Maintains forklift certification
• Follows all JAX Safety procedures

Our ideal candidate has prior customer service experience, and is willing to pitch-in where needed. Additional knowledge, skills or abilities include:

• Previous knowledge or experience with shipping, receiving or warehouse work preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis required for moving products for the store
• Experience using a pallet jack or forklift is helpful
• Computer proficiency required

Pay Range:

$16.00 - $17.50 hourly
