Job summary

Envoy Air Inc. is hiring a Ramp Agent at Syracuse Hancock International Airport. This entry-level role requires no prior experience and offers paid on-the-job training, health/dental/vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and travel perks.

Expect shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays, with outdoor work and physical duties lifting bags up to 75 pounds. Pay rate is $16.61 per hour. Eligible for travel discounts and a flexible shift trade system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid, unexpired REAL ID-compliant state driver’s license or equivalent travel authorization.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage safely to help on-time departures and arrivals.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions as a Ramp Agent.
• Shift schedules vary and may include irregular/extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

What you will be doing!

• Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner while also achieving on-time departures and arrivals.


• No need for a gym membership as you will be getting your workout in by lifting luggage throughout your shift.


• Ability to cruise on the tarmac in our company vehicles while getting the bags to their destination.


• Tired of being stuck inside all day? As a Ramp Agent, you will enjoy the fresh air while working outside in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.


• Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver’s license; or otherwise maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role.


• 18 years or older.
