Radiology Partners in Northeastern Pennsylvania (Wilkes-Barre area) seeks a Physician Assistant to serve as a physician extender for minor procedures and direct patient care. You will participate in inpatient consults, rounding, history and physicals, and education of patients under physician supervision.

Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM in a fast-paced radiology setting with no required weekend or on-call duties. Competitive compensation with a sign-on bonus and a generous PTO plan.

Formación

• Licensed PA and NCCPA certified.
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited PA program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Two years PA experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in direct patient care, including inpatient consults and rounding.
• Perform history and physical examinations; diagnose and treat illnesses/injuries.
• Order and interpret laboratory and radiographic studies.
• Perform or assist procedures and contribute to patient management plans.
• Field calls from patients and providers to identify concerns in medical management.
• Educate patients about their medical care.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM position in a fast-paced environment
• Primary role is to be physician extender/substitute for minor procedures
• Assist in the performance of direct patient care services, including inpatient consults and inpatient rounding
• Perform physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose, and treat illnesses and/or injuries
• Order and interpret laboratory and radiographic studies
• Perform or assist procedures.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes
• Perform history and physical examinations of radiology patients
• Field phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals regarding patients to identify potential areas of concern in the medical management of the patients
• Educate patients on their medical care
• Other duties as assigned

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant
• Graduate of an AMA accredited program
• Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
