Job summary

Carbon Health Technologies Inc. seeks a Full Time Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with attention to patient comfort and safety.

You will position patients, maintain radiation protection, and prepare images for radiologist review. Responsibilities include collaborating with staff, completing required DOT certifications for urine drug screens and breath alcohol tests, and contributing to workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT certificate.
• Current CPR-BLS certification.
• 3+ years healthcare leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging; explain procedures to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patient and staff.
• Prepare images for reading by Radiologist.

About the role

Qualifications

• Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through job-related training and considerable work experience. May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others, but is not a supervisor
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years in healthcare leadership experience
• Current ARRT certificate
• Current CPR- BLS
• Licensure/Certifications: Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or have an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency
